Area Conference Know Before You Register:

  • Each area has its own form. Please make sure you are registering in the right area.
  • If you are not attending the conference and want students to just participate in the ELF Test, please contact the TAFE State Office.
  • You must be a TAFE member to complete the form. If you are not a member you need to renew and pay your membership before you register for the conference.
  • You must provide a cell phone number in case we need to reach you during the conference.
  • You must provide the t-shirt sizes during your registration. Make sure you have the sizes on hand. Enter 0 for sizes you don’t need.
    • There will be no change/or size change once this form is complete.
  • Make sure you have the same number of registered attendees as T-Shirts you ordered. If judges are not registered to attend, they do not receive t-shirts.
  • Schools will be assigned student volunteer shifts, be prepared to have students trade out to make sure your assigned shifts get covered.
  • Each chapter must provide judges. We need their name and email. Judges need to be available all day. You will be billed for judges not provided:
    • $200 for up to 4 competitors, $400 for 5-14 competitors, and $600 for 15+ competitors.
    • If your judges change after October 31st, you will need to notify your area coordinator and area president teacher leader.
    • If your judges drop out or are a no show you need to have the spot filled or you will be billed after your area conference.
  • Transportation – to accommodate parking we’ll need the number and type of vehicles you are going to bring.
  • Most of the fields are required. Make sure you have all the information before you proceed to the registration form!
  • Upon completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email. In the confirmation email, you will receive competitive event registration information.
  • Be sure to review the Dress Code. If students are found out of dress code, it could affect their eligibility for competitive events. Schools flagged for violations could lose IN GOOD STANDING with the TAFE organization.

Thank you for your help, good luck to all the students participating. If you need additional information, contact your Area Coordinator.
